The Carpool Detectives: A true Story of Four Moms, Two Bodies and One Mysterious Cold Case
by Chuck Hogan
I cannot tell you exactly what roped me in so quickly with this book, but I suspect it was Hogan’s writing style. This was his first venture into writing non-fiction. This book reads like a fast paced book of fiction. The four main characters are the types of women you admire. You have to keep reading in order to put all the pieces together. You find yourself cheering them on as they discover another clue. I truly was invested into finding out what happened to the murder victims. This murder would never have been solved without the dedicated Carpool Detectives.
You’ll start making predictions who murdered Joel and Angela; then change your mind just as quick because of a new piece of evidence! My inner Jessica Fletcher, from Murder She Wrote, was definitely working overtime.
