Campbell County Public Library is pleased to have the opportunity to host author Megan E. Freeman for the annual junior high author visit this September. Freeman is the author of several award-winning novels in verse for young audiences, most notably Alone and its companion Away. Students will listen to Freeman speak during the school day and will be given the opportunity to ask questions about her work and experiences as a writer. We are very lucky to live in a community where teens are given a glimpse into the fascinating process of writing novels in verse. Who knows? Perhaps listening in the audience will be a Gillette teen destined to be the next great American author!
