I’m not sure about you, but during these troubled times I’ve been feeling very nostalgic. Perhaps I’m wanting to look back on a simpler time when I didn’t have to worry about the Big Scary waiting for me outside my door. Perhaps I want to tap into my childhood and find things that will make me laugh, cry, or smile as they have done hundreds of times before. It could be both! One thing I do know is that nostalgia is linked to various health benefits! I invite you to tap into your own loves of the past and enjoy all the feel-good that comes with it. I recently discovered a gem across the internet that transported me right back into elementary school – The Oregon Trail! You can play it online for free, and if you enjoyed it as a child, there’s still a good chance you’ll have fun with it. I’ve discovered more as an adult (for example, using the “talk to people” option can give you tips and tricks for the trail) and have found myself really into the game just like when I was young. Try it out!
