The library offers access to databases and online resources on a wide variety of subjects. Some resources are licensed for use in Wyoming or Campbell County libraries only and require a password if you are not accessing them from within a library. To use these resources from home, provide your library card and PIN when they are requested.

Ben’s Guide to U. S. Government for Kids
This site provides learning tools for K-12 students, parents, and teachers. These resources will teach how our government works, the use of the primary source materials of GPO Access, and how one can use GPO Access to carry out their civic responsibilities. And, just as GPO Access provides locator services to U.S. Government sites, Ben’s Guide provides a similar service to U.S. Government Web sites developed for kids.

Book Connections is an easy-to-use website that adds a multimedia dimension to the reading experiences of children’s and young adult books. This online database includes thousands of resources about fiction and nonfiction books for youth, with every resource selected to encourage the integration of multimedia author and book materials into reading and library activities.

A literacy resource for grades PreK-3 that pairs classic fictional video storybooks with related eBooks. Animation, audio and interactive games are designed to reinforce core reading skills.
Brainfuse offers a comprehensive suite of online academic services designed to support many learning needs and styles for students and adult learners.
Complete encyclopedia, Merriam-Webster dictionary and Thesaurus, and the Britannica Book of the Year. Additional resources include Gateway to the Classics, World Atlas, and Notable Quotations.
Choose an audience level (children, young adult, or the Reference Center for high school and adult researchers) and then search or browse for information in encyclopedias, magazines, videos, and web sites. Switch to Britannica Academic for college level or browse the country comparisons and statistics.

Contemporary Literary Criticism
Profiling novelists, poets, playwrights, short story writers, scriptwriters, and other creative writers who are currently active or who died after December 31, 1959. The profiles provide full-text or excerpted criticism taken from books, magazines, literary reviews, newspapers and scholarly journals. Approximately 90-95% of critical essays are full text, prefaced by a full citation and annotation and most entries include an author portrait. Available to Campbell County library cardholders.
