The Spy and I by Tiana Smith
If you want to read a fun fast paced spy romance, you should pick up this book! It’s smart and witty main female character, Dove Barkley, is a Cybersecurity analyst. You hit the ground running as Dove unknowingly encounters her twin sister partner when she is mistakenly given some top secret information. They start dodging bullets from the very beginning while traveling across the globe. You will want to devour this in one sitting and you be happy to know that book two is on the way.
Tiana Smith is quickly becoming an all-time favorite author for me. Her next novel, Mr. Nice Spy, is due out on November 5, 2024. Netgalley and Berkley Romance gave me an early copy for an honest review, and I have to say that I enjoyed this one just as much as The Spy and I. It has another smart main female character who can make things happen with a bang and a heroic main male character who is hearing impaired and a genius strategist. It was nice to see some different representation in this book. In my opinion, there’s not much better than a spy novel but throw in a witty blossoming romance and it will have you smiling all the way through.

It’s a spy rom-com that is full of comedy, spy action, and a hint of romance that will have you hooked from the beginning!
